Tho gold entered for export from Now Zealand last month totalled 16,2380 z, valued at .£58,051, as compared with 41,682 ouucos, of the value of £161,107 in February last year. A quautity of gold was hold back from export last month for trade purposes. Tho Registrar-General puhlishea returns in connection with tho gonoral elections, showing that 415,789 persons wero on the roll, out of a total adult population of 429,385, or 96'88 per cent., a slight increase as compared with the previous election. Tho number of voters was 318,859, or 76'69 per eont. of those on the roll. The men on tho roll numbered 229,845, or 3757 short of tho full number of adult males in the colony. Of this number 190,294 voted, or 79 44 per cent, The percentage of women on tho roll who voted was slightly smaller than at the previous election, and was 74 - 52 per cent, of those on tho roll. Tho total number of women who voted was 138,565.
