DAYLIGHT ROBBERY.

At the Police .Court to-day Thomas Ramsay and John Cairns were committed for trial on a charge o£ having assaulted and robbed Thomas Reed of .£‘2Bs m daylight For the defence evidence was produced in the direction of proving an alibi. Bail was fixed at two sureties in 4100. A chargo of horse stealing against them was remanded.
