3 Per Press 'Association, 1 Napier, last night. ! An important clearing sale of sheep, ‘ Shorthorn cattle, draught horses, etc., at Mr G. P, Donnelly’s Turamoea station, was held to-day. Over 10,000 sheep were sold and realised the following prices : 2, 4, and 6-tooth crossbred wethers, fat, up to 13s 2d ; 4 and 6-tooth half-bred wethers, stores, 10s to 10s 7d ; 2 and 4tooth half-bred wethers, comback stores, 7s 9d ; 2 and 4-tooth Romney cross wethors, stores, 9s ; full-mouth ewes, stores, 4s 9d ; Leicester cross ewe lambs, stores, 5s 3d ; forward wether lambs, 4s 9d to 6s 9d, Tbo cattle wero from a milking strain, and sold well ; 18-months forward stcors brought £4, up to £4 15s; eows in calf, £6; 2] year heifers in calf, £5 16s, X‘s 15s, £5 2s 6d, £4 17s 6d ; 21 year steers, £5 23 6d ; store bullocks, £6 ; forward bullocks, £7 Is ; fat cows, dry, £5 15s; draught fillies and geldings, 2to 4 years old, unbroken, up to £22 10s. The total amount realisod by tho salo was £10,685, cattle being £5644, sheep £3871, horses £1065, implements and sundries £lO5. Thero was a Jargo attendance of buyers, including some from Dannovirke, Palmerston North, and West Coast.
