ACCIDENT TO SIR G. TURNER
THE FEDERAL TREASURER KNOCKED INTO HARBOR. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Received 5.22 p.m., April 19. Sydney, April 19. Sir George Turner, the Federal Treasurer, was accidentally shoved iuto the harbor yesterday while boarding a ferry boat. A deck hand, throwing a plank, struck Sir George Turner. The latter was rescued, but is suffering from bruises and shock. The doctor to-day states that at least one of Sir George Turner’s ribs are broken. The in juries, though not serious, are very painful. Sir George had just handed Lady Turner aboard when the accident happened.
