(Per Press Association.) Hokitika, last night. Great interest was taken in the borough elections ycstcrdu.y. The old councillors were supplautod by new members. Mr Joseph Grimtnond was re-elected Mayor of Ro3S. Hawera, last night. _ There was much interest in tho umnici pal elections. Mr Robbins was ro elected Mayor, polling 230 against 178 by Mr Paterson, and 10S by Mi Davidson. The four old councillors who sought re-election were returned. Redding, last night. The Council election resulted : J. Cobbo, W. Chamberlain, W. Ha/bittle, A. Richmond, J. Bramwell, G. Saywell, C. Tustin, R, Burne, and J. Thompson. Westport, last night. At the Borough Council election only ono member of the last Council was reelected. Wellington, hist night. For the Petono Mayoralty Mr G. London defeated Mr Mothes, the present Mayor, by a majority of "213.
