By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrigh Received 12,31 a.m., Muy 7. Romo, May 6. Baccelli, Italian Minister of Marino, speaking in the Chamber Deputies, said that Great Britain bud not approached Italy in favor of simultaneous naval reductions. In the event of Great Bntuin proposing that Italy would reduce armaments, the proposal might seem inopportune becauso others had boon increasing lloets while Italy for financial reasons had boon reducing the Estimates. Italy needed a powerful navy owing to her position and the grout interests to defend in distant parts, also to protect emigrants.
