Ho was sentenced to ton yours, aud ordered to recoivo two floggings of twenty-five strokes each. In tho alleged libel cases tho accused, William Richardson aud William John 8011, put in ploas of not guilty, with the addition if the alleged defamatory was published it was true, and published in the public interest. Those cases will not be tried till next week.
