CHRYSANTHEMUM SHOW.

An idea of what can be done in Gisborne in the growing of chrysanthemums is given by tho beautiful exhibition in Messrs Adair Bros.’ windows. The exhibition has been viewed and admired by a great many people. The main exhibitiors are Messrs A. F. Kennedy and G. Darton, the latter also showing his taste in tbe decorating work. The show is undoubtedly a great credit to the town. Some of the blooms would grace a stand in any of the shows in the larger cities. The fact that Mr Kennedy has only commenced as a grower of chrysanthemums this year shows what can be done in that direction. His most choice exhibits were a heliotrope Japanese named 11 Good Gracious,” and a buff Japaneso named “ Buff Globe.” Tho exhibition will be continued to-day, and should certainly inspire lovers of flowers with enthusiasm.
