Wanganui, last night. Tho question of .completing the ParaparaRaetihi road was discussed at .a meeting oi tho Chamber of Commorco to day. v er y strong feeling at tho way in which She roading had been neglected was expressed. It was resolved that the Government be asked to place on the Estimates this session a sum sufficient to complete the l’arapara-Baetihi road, and that the work bo commenced at both ends. It was also resolved that the Mayor call a public meeting to assist the. Chamber in carrying tts resolution into effect.
