The catalogue included 2,SU New Zealand crossbreds, mostly ewes. They were only fairly good, and made from 15s Od to 19s lOd for ewes, and ISs 2d for wethers. Local supplies realised : Best wethers 10s Ud, good 1-ls ; best ewes 15s 6d, good Ids. Por cattle, competition was spirited, and values advanced. Best bullocks brought Lid 15s to Til, good Dll 15s; best cows DO 10s, good £8 ss, Best beef, 82s per lOOlbs.
