There is nothing fresh concerning the small-pox scare, except that tho supply of lymph is totally inadequate to vaccinate those seeking protection. Sydney, June 30^
The Board of Health has decided that as the Oonah came from Hobart to release such of her passengers as have been vaccinated to-morrow. Thoso by tho Wanaka, who came from Launeeston, will have to remain for the prescribed time.
A MILD CASE IN QUARANTIN
(Per Press Association ) WELLINGTON, last night,
The Chief Health Officer states that the man Marion, from Launceston, who was found staying at an hotel in the city on Saturday, and quarantined, lias undoubtedly been suffering from small-pox in a mild form.. He is now almost recovered. The ailment of another suspect on the island lias reached a more advanced stage, but is not believed to be small-pox. However, the man will be detained until all doubt is past.
