BOROUGH ELECTION.
(To the Editor Gisborne Times.)
Sir,—l have been thinking who I should vote for at the coming election, so I took a walk round Whataupoko to see the work Mr Matthews has had done- over there, and I have heard that his Board has only about four hundred pounds a year, while Gisborne has over four thousand a year to spend; so I must congratulate Mr Matthews as Chairman of the Whataupoko Board for getting so much work done for so little money. Since going round I have made up Biy mind to vote for Mr Matthews,/ lam also rather nervous about the water supply. Mr Kennedy has been in for a long time, and still we have no water ; so I think it is only fair to give Mr Matthews a chance to see if he can get us a good water supply.—l am, etc., A' WOMAN VOTER.
