By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, July 1. The revenue fer the year was Ti 1,5.32, 000, an increase of £353,000 over last year. The deficit at the opening of the year was £236,000, and is now a little over £300,000. The censure debate is listless, and will probably finish to-morrow. Melbourne, July 1. The revenue for the year is £6,936,000, a decrease of £70,000 on the preceding year. The sum of £2,105,000 was received from the Commonwealth.
A statement by the Postmaster-General in respect to receipts and expenditure on the Pacific cable for the year ending March 31st shows a loss of £101,690. Adelaide, July 1. The revenue for the year wa? £2,472,000, including £566,000 for the Commonwealth. The railway revenue was £1,074,000, exceeding the estimate by £IO,OOO. In regard to the precedence trouble in New Zealand,>as far as this colony is concerned the Chief Justice takes precedence over Ministers, aecording to the table approved by the late Queen in 1900. Brisbane, July 1. Bemarkably rich washings of gold continue near Pratten. Three dishfuls yesterday yielded five ounces.
