EDUCATION BOARD FIHAHCES.

£Per Press Association-} Wellington, last night. Speaking at Levin yesterday Mr Brady, chairman of the Wellington Education Board, said that the Board had 150 sohools with ;an average attendance of 15,428 under its oontrol. During the last twelve months it had spent £9590 in buildings, whioh were urgently required, but the building grant only amounted to £5200. The Board was now left with an overdraft of £1022. Ho had now received a letter from the Danker stating that no further cheques must be issued against the aocount.
