London, July 8. At the wool sales Buxtons and Ronald, Balm and Co., and Jacomb and Son offered 9805 bales, three-quarters of the offerings boing New Zealand. There was a full attendance of buyers. Compared with the May series, prices for Merinos and fine crossbreds remained unchanged. Medium and coarse crossbred wore ful y 7£ per cent, dearer, the Home trade keenly competing for crossbreds.

The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agenoy Company, Ltd., bava received t e following cable from London sales opened on the 7th. Competition is keen and attendance very good. Quantity available 161,000 bales, including quantity held over from last sales. Since close of last sales prices'are about par to J per cont higher for fine greasy crossbred, greasy crossbred lambs, crossbred shpe, and fine scoured crossbred; 7£ to 10 per ceh higher for medium greasy crossbred and coarse greasy crossbred; merino wools about the same. The rise in the price o medium and coarse crossbreds is to about five-eighths of a penny in the pound.
