LAUNCESTON, July 8,
Five Iresh cases of smallpox are reported in Jhe city, four of them being in previously isolated houses. .The fifth was a contact. Four members of a family named Adams, at Lefroy, have also been attacked. One ,01 the victims was recently an inmate in .the isolation ward at Launceston Hospital, and on his return home developed tho disease.
