HicksBeack’s request, undertook to ask tho Premiers it they would withdraw the objection to the publication of the text of discussions at the Premiers’ Conference rolative ,to preference. Mr Chamberlain supposed that whether Canada would give or withhold further preference would depend on Britain's offer.
