MANAWATU V. SOUTH CANTERBURY. By Telegraph—Press Association—, Palmerston North, last night. The football match between South Canterbury and Manawatu, played here today, resulted in a w’in for the home team by six points to three. The game was very evenly contested throughout. The Canterbury backs were superior, but the home forwards were better at getting the ball and in loose work. The game was a fast one.
