Sir,—After hearing Miss Vartha, the gifted pianist who performed in Gisborne on Wednesday evening, and as in all probability it may b.e some considerable time before her etjjual in musical skill visits our shores, I .would like to ask the above-named lady artist to play, “ Kowalski’s March ” to-night, as with Miss Martha's marvellous execution I am sure that it would be appreciated by many musical and other people here.
