SALE OF WINE.
AN EX-PUBLICAN FINED., By; Telegraph—Press Association— Christchurch, last night. At Ixaiapoi to-day R. W. Manning, whose publican’s license was refused in consequence of the reduction vote, was fined £3 and costs for selling two gallons of colonial wine to a social committee. Defendant pleaded that he had been under the impression that ho could sell colonial wine in quantities of not loss than two gallons. Some liquor found on his pre- V raises was orderod to be confiscated. v
