Per Press Association. Wellington, last nighi
W. G. Turnbull and Co. received a cablo message to-day stating that the barque Amsterdam, while lying in New York harbor, almost completely loaded with goods for New Zealand, principally for Auckland and Wellington, caught five, and had to be scuttled and sunk.
