ANOTHER TILIKUM

Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, last night.

An attempt to outdo Captain Voss’ feat of sailing in the canoe Tilikum around the world will be made by Horace Bucko-, ridge, late of the Discovery, and for a few months mate of the Tilikum. Bailey and Lowe, Auckland boatbuilders, have been commissioned to build a tiny craft not exceeding 21- tons measurement, resembling partly a lifeboat and partly a yacht in appearance. Buckeridge hopes to start in six weeks, sailing around the Horn direct to London without calling at any intermediate ports unless compelled by weather. Then he makes for America, hoping to exhibit tho craft at the St. Louis Exhibition next year. DEATI-I OF AN OLD MAN. An old man, named James Harris, aged over 60, was found ill in the Domain yesterday evening. He was conveyed to the hospital, where he died. An inquest will be held.
