WRECK OF SHIP.
By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright Perth, Sept. 1.
The steamer Fortunatus, from Singapore, reports sighting a largo four masted Euglish ship hopelessly wrecked on transit Rook, Sunday Strait. She did not approach near enough to ascertain her name, but apparently she had been on the reef a considerable time. There was no sign of life. While the Fortunatus was passing another steamer was seen approaching the wreck from Batavia, evidently with the intention of salvaging.
