GOLD ROBBERY.
(Per Press Association.) Nelson, last nighi
In connection with the gold robbery at Parapara, Collingwood, a telegram to the Mail says : “ Excitement intensifying this morning by the discovery of tho gold hidden in the vicinity of Gleneye. A constant search has been made, and Thomas Nelson, one of the oldest'employees of the company, succeeded in unearthing the 1 plant,’ fifty ounces being recovered. Strong suspicions are attached to certain persons. Further developments are expected.” A detective is in Nelson, about to proceed to Collingwood to investigate.
