SERIOUS ACCIDENT.
By Telegraph—Press Association— Hokitika, last night. Information was received from South Westland to-day that Thomas Cox, employed on Government road work near Waitaka bridge, had met with a serious accident owing to a heavy fall of gravel in a pit. The injuries are likely to prove fatal. .
