ATTEMPTED MURDER.
Per Press Association. Napier, last night. At the Supreme Court to-day Andrew McLuckie was found guilty of attempting to murder his wife and his daughter and to commit suicide at Dannevirka on 23rd August, and was remanded till Friday for sentence.
A charge against Edward Scarfe of attempting to murder Catherine Edith French at Dannavirke was partly heard, and will be continued to-morrow.
