SUPREME COURT. Per Press Association. ' Napier, last night. In the Supreme Court to day the jury disagreed in the case of James Koorey, charged with indecent assault upon a girl under the age of 14 years. A new trial was ordered for Monday. DROWNING ACCIDENT. Information was received in town to-day of the drowning at Moawhango on Thursday of an elderly man named Thomas Houston, The river was being dragged, but up to the time of the coaoh leaving the body had not been recovered. There are qo particulars as to how the drowning occurred. GOLF MATCH. A golf matoh was played yesterday between Kurapo Tareha, winner of the New Zealand ohampionship at the reoent tournament, and C. Gillies, of Auckland, ex-ohampion. Tareha, who defeated Gillies in one of the somi-finais of the ohampionship, again demonstrated his superiority, winning by 8 up and 6 to play.
