Shrapnel has also been backed for a small amount at 7’s to 1. Lavalette has been enquired for, but the price offered (12 to 1) did not load to business. For the doublo Cup and Stewards Roseal, Shrapnol, Wainlti, Lavalotto, and Melwood are the favorite picks for the Cup, coupled with Machine Gun, Royal Fusilier, and Petrovna in the Stowards’ Handicap, Machine Gun is still a pronounced favorite for the Stewards’ Handicap.
