Auckland, last night. Tho Premior, accompanied by Mrs Seddon, left Auokland far To Aroha this morning. At To Aroha ho presents a oharior to tho local branch of the Labor and Liberal Federation, going on to Rotorua to-morrow. He will be banqueted on Friday night, and on Saturday morning he unveils a monument at Whakarewarowa to Keopa To RaDgipuawhi, and ia the afternoon he performs a similar fonotion at Obinemutu, a memorial having been ereoted to Pefcera, an Obinemutu ohief. Subsequently he addresses a meeting of natives at Ohinemuiu, and will return to the South early next week. Rotorua, last night.
The Premier arrived by express to-Dight. The station wae crowded with residents and visitors. As the Prenrer appeared cheers were given for him. Ho was mol by a largo number of members of Ihe Liberal Sooiety. Aocompanied by Mrs Seddon, Miss Seddon, and the Hon. J. Oarroli, he was driven to tbo Grand Hotel, after handshakings by many ladies. A banquet was given in iheir honor to-night. Great preparations have been mado for unveiling monuments at Wbakarewarowa and Obinemutu to morrow. Natives have been flocking hither sinoe Thursday. Some hundreds are now assembled ai Whakarowarewa. Large quantities of food have been presented by visiting natives. A dining hall of 60 feet has been ereoted by the natives.
