IN Pursuaooe and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by •'The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” tbe Gisborne Borough Council hereby resolves as fellows— . '•That, for the purpose ol providing the interest and other charges on a loan of JE5500, autboiised to bo raised by the Gisborne Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for ereotion of a Bridge over the Tarnberu River at Roebuck Road, the said Gisborne Bcrough Counoil hereby makes and levies a Speoial Rate of l£d in the £ upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Gisborne, as defined by the N.Z. Gazette of 9th June, 1904, No. 48, Folio 1490. " That suoh Special Rate shall be an annually rccurri-g rato during the currency of suoh lobd, aud be payable halfyearly on tbe 30th June and the 31st Deoomfcor in each and every year during the ourreDoy of such loan, being a period of 30 yoars, or until the loan iB fully paid off.”

Passed at a Special Meeting of the Gisborne Borough Counoil, held on the 13th day of March, 1906, and confirmed at a properly-constituted meeting of the said Council hold on Tuesday, the 10th day of April, 1906, Wo hereby certify that tbo above Bpecial Order has been duly made. In witness whereof the seal of the said Council has been hereto affixed this 10th day of April, 1906.
