TO-MORROW NIGHT. , The three plays selected by the Charles Holloway Dramatic Co. for presentation during their Gisborne season, commencing at His Majesty’s to-morrow night, should meet with general approval, as they are all wellknown London successes. The opening piece, “Two Little Vagabonds,” is regarded by the press and public as' one of the finest dramas ever written, and is accepted as a classic, and it has never been staged with more jtqdious attention to detail than by tfie Hfillqwa.v Company On Thursday “The Coal King” will be presented. Air. Holloway recently purchased the Australasian lights of this play from the authors, and has spared no expense in the costuming and scenic production. Miss Beatrice Holloway appeals m the character of a schoolmistress, and is said to be particularly well placed. There is one specially fine scene in a coal mine, where the cage is seen descending to the depths of the nunc. “The Shadows of a Great City, the* play chosen for Friday, the last night of the season, is a distinctly American sensation;; abounding m stirring situations, with a plot deep enough to create interest without imposing a great mental strain, and will be produced on a scale of exceptional magnificence.
