APOLOGY.

I lie following is the full text of the apology which should have appeared in our issue of Alay 14th: “Tlie Directors of The Gisborne Times Newspaper desire to freely and openly withdraw all such statements as have at any time appeared! an- the above newspaper in any way disparaging to Dr. Morrison or his r.iaiiagemnt of the Gisborne Hospital. They entirely withdraw tho leading article which appeared in the Gisborne Times of April 23rd concerning a patient named Foster,and-they apologise for its insertion. They are convinced after enquiry that the remarks there made were unjustifiable and had no foundation in 'fact, and they make this open avowal hoping that they may remofve any. imputation that has been made on Dr. Aiorrison or his treatment of patients, in the Hospital. They sincerely hope’ that by so doing any harm done to Dr. Aiorrison may he speedily rectified.
