The Rugby Union’s contests will be resumed on Saturday at \ ictoi la Domain when Ivaiti-City will mee West End in the senior division anil Taiiitimn will meet West End in the junion division. The following will represent Vest End in their game against IvaitiOity on Saturday:—Tate, Forbes, Henderson, Roderick, Brown, I’riday, Turner, Tine, Hekc,' Mutu, Elleson, Hakowai, Blair, Stuart, Hepburn, Rewi. ■ At 2 o’clock this afternoon a return match will be played on Victoria Domain between the Jockeys aiid Trainers and. Hairdressers.
In response to a challenge sent from the Gisborne School Juniors to the Taruheru College, a football match was played at Victoria Domain yesterday afternoon. S. Mills skippered the school team, while J. Bellerby acted in a like capacity for the College boys. An exciting game eventuated, both sides showing evidences of careful coaching. Mr. D. Cowan kindly acted as referee, and carried out the duties in an impartial manner, while Messrs. M. Oman and C. Nolan were tho line-umpires.
REFEREES’ ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the P. B. Referees’ Association was held at the Royal Hotel last evening, and was well attended. Mr. J. Martin was elected to the chair.
A lot of correspondence from the "Wellington Referees’ Association was gone through re new rulings, and these were discussed at the meeting and made clear to the local referees. The referees appointed for next Saturday’s matches at Victoria Domain are: —Senior match, Mr. W. Howard; Junior match, Mr. It. G. Hallamore.
A request from the Thursday players, that the association appoint Mr. W. Hay as referee in their match today, was acceded to. The meeting terminated with a vote of thanks to the chairman.

THE CASE OF BASKIVILLE. Press Association. WELLINGTON, last night. .At a meoting of the Wellington Rugby Union management committee to-night a letter from the Athletic Park Company stated that no decision had been reached regarding the exclusion of A. H. Baskiville from the company’s ground. It was decided to ask the N.Z. Rugby Union for a ruling defining under what conditions an individual can receivo monetary consideration for service rendered to a football organisation and retain his amateur status.

It- was decided to warn the offender off all grounds under the Union’s control for five years.
