“A Land Bill it is,” Says McNab; “And a grand Bill it is,” Says McNab; ‘But we’ll just fix a limit at a price where I’m in it And burst up the rest,” Says McNab; '“The undesirable pests,” Says McNab; poi they own more than I do, and bust them I’ll try to— It’s the Liberal way,” Says McNab; “And I’ll earn my bit pay,” Says McN ab; ‘Tor Geordio and Joe says' I must na go slow, But must hustle the crows, Says McNab; “So I’m yelling out loud,” Says McN ab; ‘But I’m cautious they’ll find and I’ll trim with the wind However it blows,” Says McNab; “But I’m seeking no rows,” Says McN ab; ‘For it’s no ma ambition to risk nia position; I’ll go canny the noo,” Says McNab; “For ye ken there’s ma screw,” Says McNab; ‘And I’ll no risk ma billet, for I’m anxious to fill it —
It’s a grand'billet, too,” Says McNab; “Wi’ a bonny bit screw,” Says McNab; ‘Gang warily on and be ready to run, Is the motto of all the McNabs; “So I’m no going to fail,” Says McN ab; 'For Massey the loon ho laught ma Bill down
In his blustering style,” Says McNab; “He’s the de’il for guile,” Says McNab; ‘So our Geordic may scowl, and the Liberals may howl, But- I’ll just trim ma sails,” Says McNab; “And I’ll gang with the gab,” Says McNab.
