A lautetn and musical entertainment is to bo given to-morrow evening ill the Church of England Sclioolj room. ' The Rev, L. Dawson Thomas during 1 a recent- visit to Australia secured large number of slides shewing the 1 scenic beauties of New South Wales, 'embracing views of the harbor, cite and country places. There aro also a number of slides of the Australian blacks, shewing their customs, wea pons anil mysterious “oorroboreos.’ The Vicar, who will explain the pictures, has a large fund of interesting stcries and information drawn from personal experience. During the evening musical items will he given by some of the favorite musicians in the district. The proceeds are to he given to the Sunday School Fund and as the object is a good one, residents are invited to assist by attending. An 'advertisement calling attention to the above appears in another column of this issue.
