United Press Association—Copyright Received August 16, 11.35 p.m. SYDNEY, August 16. Mr. J. "Wren has arranged for the New Zealand and New South Wales lb ofessional Rugby teams to play three matches in Melbourne.

The football matches for to-day are Pakeha v. Maori on No. 1 ground and Whatatutu v. Junior Reps on No. 2 ground. The Pakeha and Maori teams are both well represented and as the players on both sides will be oil their very best behaviour, in consequence of the presence of the members of the selection committee, a fast and hard game should result. The game on No. 2 ground between the Whatatutu fifteen and the local Junior Reps, should be the means of attracting a large share of the onlookers as, from the accounts to hand, the country, team are a heavy, fast and clever combination, which will be hard to beat. The Whatatutu backs are credited with being a speedy lot and ill their dashes for the line are said to throw the leather about with a freedom .that is rarely witnessed in the local matches. The following will represent Whatatutu:—Full-back, A. Summiiis; three-quarters, J. Bartholomew, R. Campbell, W. Fisher; fiveeigliths, B. Stente, T. Swain; half, A. Crook; wing. W. Campbell, G. Webb, F. Delaney, W. Bartlett, W. Wriglit, A. Fromm, J. M. Spence, R. Shultz. The colors of the team are blue and white.

The following will represent the Kaiti-City thirds to play Takitimu this afternoon: G. Pollock, Wyllio. Anderson, Mcßride, Cramp, Lang, C, Pollock, Nicholas, Bristow, J. Bright, O’Neill, Hickey, Butterworth, L. Bright Jackson; emergencies: Morrow, Liddle, Marlow, Merritt.
