PERSONAL.
The death occurred at "Wanganui on Sunday evening, of "William Pears'"ll' Davis, aged 16 years, the only son of Air. and Airs. C. P. Davis, of Gisborne. The lad’s condition had been critical for some time, and the parents and members of the family were m attendance. Altich sympathy will ho felt lor Air. and Airs. Davis in their bereavement. Yesterday several of the commercial bouses flew flags at half-mast on receipt of the sad announcement.
