TEACHERS’ SUPERANNUATION.

(Special to Times.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 26. The Education Committoo recommends that the interpretation clause of the Toachors’ Superannuation Act, 1906, bo so amended as to provide that the word “original member” shall include teachers who through no fault of their own happened to have boeu temporarily unemployed at tlie time of the coming into operation of the Act, but who can prove thomselves to have been from, the time of their non-employment until January Ist., 1906, desirous of obtaining and wore actual applicants i for permanent employment. The report was referred to tho Government for consideration.
