ROWING.

The fact of AVebb having won the rowing championship of the world seems to have given a great impetus co rowing throughout the Dominion. It is stated on reliable authority that the Gisborne Rowing Club are negotiating for the purchase of new coats which will bring their plant up to a standard that will compare very favorably with that of any of the leading clubs of the Dominion. It is the intention of local oarsmon to institute a series of afternoon aquatic sports similar to those of yesterday, which should be greatly appreciated by the sport-loving section of Gisborne.
