A number of pleasant games were played on the Timingsnui green yesterday afternoon. In the final of the Handicap Pairs, Neill and Col'ey heat Devery and Gandhi by 24 to .16. The game was closely contested, tho driving and drawing being especially good. Tho game was fairly open until the 20th head, when Craudin failed to take out an easy ball. The win of Neill and Colley was a very popular one. Tho Gisborne Club’s green was well a tended yesterday afternoon, when a number of interesting games were played. In the Handicap Singles W. J. P. Gaudin (1) beat E. Lewis (9) by 27 to 17. The following ordinary games were played:—Bullock. Wilson, Griffiths, Simson, (26) beat Kymo, R. Crawford, Craig, T. A. Crawford (15) Alack roll, Aliller, Pet-tie Eure (19) beat Robertson. Malcolm, Houlihan, R. Robertson (17); Burton, J. F. Pettio, Ambridge, Wright (20) beat Berraud, Lucas, AVilliams, Alarfin (12); Colebrook,' German, Paltridge, Cusson (37) boat Stevens, Preston, O’Alcara, Lewis (9); Elliott. Leslie, Primrose. AV. Pettie( 18) beat Aliller. Alontaguo, E. Lowis, Anderson (17). Air. Hobbs, repfesentativo of the Kaiapoi Woollen Coy was elected an lionary member.
