Champion (Auckland), 1; J. Grant (late of the West Coast) 2: \ \y Kean (Auckland), 3. Only three ‘ finished. Tho champion’s time was given as G lll ill 19sec, uliicn estiblishes a record for New Zealand -the previous best being orain 2Sseo, bv Bull, of Christchurch. One of the timekeepers made the champion’s time 2sec lower.
