FERRY’S BIORAAIA GO

Perry’s Biorauia Company commenced their Gisborne Season at His Majesty’s Theatre last evening, when there was a fairly large attendance. The pictures shoyn were of a very high order, and were observed very ■closelv. t'Some of the pictures were colored, and these were; very-* ©je. The films were'all very clear; and there was no flicker. Among the pictures shown were the following: “The Poor Old Couple,” “Fijian Scenes,” “Saving the Colors,” “Don it Go To Law,” “Jack Mainstay’s Vovaue,” “Conjugal Honor, “Clift Climbing;” “The Opium Smokers Dream.” ‘The Borough Council s steam roller was used for power 'purposes and it answered very . well, with the exception of a few in mutes during the time “Saving tille Colors was being run off. A thus .the-triek skater, made a good exhibition ol fancy skating, and lie jumped cleanly over ton chairs, each chair facing another, making it a jump over the width of five chairs. Miss Eva Bra dv gave, verv good renderings of ‘‘And I 'a Little Child Shall Lead Them” and “In the Shadow ot the Pines.” Stan Chester, comedian, was given an attentive hearing. Hi;> enunciation was very clear, ;md tins fact is a strong point m his favor. Two very pretty songs were given by Little’ Leah, who is « very young performer.
