TRENTHAM MEETING CLOSES. Prc6s Association. WELLINGTON, March 12. The rifle meeting was brought to a close to-day with the match Riflemen v Volunteers, and tho Defence Cadets match. The,-Rifle Club men beat the Volunteers by 24 points. A. France, Karori Rifle Club, was- the highest individual scorer with 95; Private H. E. Gale, of Wellington, was top scorer in the Cadets match, with 62 points. He_was only one short of the possible-at 500yds.
