Dr. Collins is -expected back from a holiday trip to AVaikarcmoana oil Monday night. Mr. Chuides Pratt, accountant to Messrs Hoke Brothers, leaves this morning per Mokoia for -Matakana via Auckland to take up liis -duties at the new mill recently erected in that country. A Press Association, telegram from Feililing states that Mr. L. E. Jackson,'manager of the Hon. John Br.vco’s' estate, recently cut up and sold, who is .leaving the district, was last might given a complimentary dinner and an illuminated address by the Agricultural and Pastoral Association, of which he is an ex-president. On Wednesday night ho was given a farewell social and presented with a purse of sovereigns at Kimbolton.
