At 9 o’clock to-night entries for the following events at the St. Patrick’s Day snorts will close with Mr E. Williams: — St. Patrick’s Handicap, Siamese Race, Half-mile Handicap, and One Milo Handicap. Entries for the mii'.e bicycle race close at the same timo with Mr H. Anderson.
Alfred Slirubb, tho famous long-dis-tance runner, is accomplishing somo fine performances on he track in America. At Boston, in January, lie ran a ten-mile race against a relay of five men, and finished an easy winner in Slmin 33 2-oscc.
