Mr. G. F. Freddy, electrical engineer, lias a change of advertisement in this issue. Tenders are called in this issue for tho lease of 220 acres of rich land at Te Karaka.

Mr C. G. Bloore, Agent, Lowe St. for town or country properties. ■ A great number of visitors -have come to Gisborne for the To Arai. land ballot, which takes place to-day. Doubtless some of the disappointed applicants will take up land elsewhere .in the district, and Mr. W. Lissant Clayton is anxious that vendors of small runs and dairy farms should communicate with him at once.
