HOCKEY.
VISIT OF ENGLISH TEAM. Proas Association. AUCKLAND, April 29. At tlio meeting of the executive of the Auckland Hockey Association, a letter was received through Messrs. Cook and tSons from Mr. H. S. Skinner, Dewsbury, England, inquiring whether the hour of an English amateur team would bo acceptable. The executive decided to communicate with the New Zealand Association, and to further the project as much os possible.
