Tho rains which fell on (Sunday and Monday made the green very heavy, but, nevertheless, a game in the Handicap Singles was played, when W. J. P. Gaudin defeated P. Hallam by 22 to 14. Gaudin scored lon the first-head and on the second head ovortook Hall a ill’s handicap of 3. The *uuo on the fourth head was 6 to 4 hi Gamlin’s favor, and on the thirteenth head tho score was 11 all. Gaudin then gradually drew away, and finished, with a lead of 8 points. The draw for the semi-final took place yesterday utter noon. Gaudin will meet M. G. .Nasmith, jUnr., and the winner will then play R. Sheet iu the final. GISBORNE GREEN. Yesterday afternoon., despite the threatening weather and a heavy green, a. few games were played. Douglas, Pultrulgc, Clarkson, and Simsou, 21; beat Pottie, Morgan, Corson, and Euro, 17; and Lewis and Pavit 25, defeated Kyme and Redstone 20. In the second round of the colts match, T. "Clarkson was victorious over Collins by 23 to 13. -
