COMPETITION IN BUSINESS. CIVIL SERVANTS AND PENSIONS (Press Association.") AUCKLAND, June 10. At -the meeting of the Liberal and Labor Federation to-night, the following resolution, moved by tho president (Mr. P. J. Neherny), was carried, “That the Government be asked to legislate to the effect that ex-C-ivil Servants'who are receiving a pension of £2OO anil upwards be debarred from embarking in public business, profession, or calling, thereby entering into competition with business men who are not fortunate enough to lie the possessors of Civil Service pensions.” -
