Carroll, accompanied bv their private secretaries, went '[South by the Wuikare last night. ,- Mr. S. Sjjragge, chief of Hie “Hansard” staff, after a stay of. several weeks in Gisborne, left- for the South last night.

Air. Isaacs, Inspector of Technical Schools, wias in Gisborne for a few days last week, and left for Auckland on Saturday.
